Adult & teen Exercise Info & Schedule
"Life is a balancing act.  We balance family, work, home, etc.  Trying to
involve the kids in a variety of positive experiences without putting too much
pressure on them.  Trying also to find time for ourselves, so that we can feel
better as we take on life.  We try to do our best for the people we love.  
Remember to take time for yourself.  Exercise is as important for you as it is
for your kids.  It can even be as much fun for you as it is for them.  You will
not only feel better if you exercise regularly, you will be better able to take
care of everyone else."   -

Adult and Teen Programs:
These classes are not gymnastics.  We will not bounce on the Tumbl Trak or swing on the
bars.  Handstands may occasionally be included,always with an alternate exercise, but no
flipping.  Anyone with no limitations on your exercise practice can participate.  Even if you
have some limitations, you can probably join in most classes with little variation.  

Are our classes enough to get you and keep you in shape?

We recommend that everyone get 20 minutes or more aerobic exercise daily.  Walk, jog,
run, bike, swim, etc., when you can.  Our classes give you plenty of opportunity to
engage in enough resistance (strength building) exercise and stretching in a variety of fun
ways for most people.  If you want to train for something more specific, you may want to
do more.  

Cost:  All Lives in Balance Gym LLC members must pay $20.00 registration fee
one time each year, to ensure secondary liability coverage.  Adult membership
entitling member to attend unlimited number of scheduled classes during four
week session: $30.00/mo.  (Months to coincide with children's gymnastics
schedule.  Not less than 4 complete weeks each month.)  
10% discount if another
family member is enrolled.  (gymnastics, tumbling or adult)  20% discount if two
or more family members are enrolled in any Lives in Balance Gym LLC program

Any class can be attended for the one time trial cost of $10.00. (Without paying
registration fee.  $10.00 can be credited towards registration fee if one chooses
to continue.)



Do you want:
Earlier morning work-outs?  Indoor cycling bikes to be signed out for an hour at
a time? (During gymnastics classes, too.)     Yoga?,  Pilates?,  Aerobics?,  
When?     Let me know.

Note:  Classes have been small and, therefore, I have not necessarily adhered to
a particular format.   I have been able to tailor work-outs to the individuals
attending.

Classes will include:
A low impact warm-up to get your heart moving, stretching and an all-over strength, toning,
and conditioning workout targeting all major muscle groups with a variety of different
exercises using simple or no equipment.

11:15 a.m. Fridays


Additional times can be added if enough interest.

Currently, due to limited space, gymnastics classes are taking up most of the
schedule.  I hope to be able to offer yoga and pilates, again, in the future.
Work-outs are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30
through the summer months.  No
class 7/29.
We'll return to Tuesdays & Fridays at 11:15 in September.
