Lives in Balance Gym LLC
Class pricing & class policies

Pricing below is for September, 2012 - May, 2013 season.

Class fees:

Gymnastics-
All Lives in Balance Gym gymnastics members must pay a
start up fee each time a child
enrolls (or re-enrolls).  The start-up fee will be
$20/child.  The fee will max at $35/family.
This fee is good for the full year as long as the child is enrolled in continuous weekly
classes.  (After an unpaid break from weekly classes, the fee is charged to re-start.)  No
start-up fee will be charged to members enrolling in September classes who have paid for
5 or more summer 2012 classes or who paid start-up fee in summer 2012.
The start-up fee is an effort to keep your monthly fees from rising.  Our classes are not
planned or priced for taking single classes.  Single classes may only be taken by new non-
members and scheduled guests of members.  We hold a spot for your child with your
monthly class fee.  Please try to let us know when your child will not be in class as soon as
you can.  It is very helpful in scheduling adequate teaching staff and make-up classes.
Payment for classes goes month to month.  Your monthly payment will hold a spot in that
class into the following month as long as payment for that month is received by the second
class.  Please let us know about extended vacations, illnesses and other circumstances that
may affect your attendance &/or ability to make timely payment so that you don't forfeit
your spot.  Classes missed for any reason may be made up within 90 days.  Please
schedule all make-up classes with us by stopping at the desk when you are in, calling the
gym at 717-
464-0404, or by emailing:  info@livesinbalancegym.com.

All monthly fees are for a four week payment month and will not necessarily follow the
calendar month.  We will post a number on the door to correspond with the week in the
payment month.  Please ask if you are unsure.  Payment for the new month is due on
week
#1.

•        Emergency contact info and waiver must
be signed by participant or parent/ guardian if
under 18.

•        Dress appropriately for exercise.  We
recommend the same policies as for children’s
gymnastics.

•        Please wear clean footwear.  Socks are
fine.  Our floor is designed for socks or soft
(gymnastic slippers) footwear.  For most classes,
sneakers are not necessary.  If you feel you
need the support of sneakers, please designate
a pair for indoor gym use, only.  NO STREET
SHOES.  Our children gymnasts use the floor for
their hands and, sometimes even, faces.

•        Our adult allotted times are for group
exercise.  Please work with the instructor to join
in the class.  This gym is not for open work-
outs.

•        Personal Training sessions may be
scheduled for current members at an additional
cost.  If interested, please inquire.

•        Children may wait for you in the waiting
area.  They should at all times be within your
sight. (It won’t be hard.)  Remember, they are
your responsibility.  Unfortunately, at this time,
we are unable to offer child care.  You will be
asked not to bring children if they cannot behave
while you work out.  We may, at any time revoke
this privilege for any member.
•        Emergency contact info and waiver must
be signed by parent or guardian before student
may participate.

•        Dress in clothes for exercise.  Shorts or
sweatpants with some stretch.  T-shirts and
sweatshirts.  Leotards are ideal.  Skirts and
baggy clothes can be in the way.  Try to choose
a top that will stay down or tucked in when
upside down.  No jeans, belts, buckles, zips or
buttons.  Wear clean socks or soft (gymnastic
slippers, not sneakers) footwear.  No jewelry.
(even tiny pierced earrings pose a risk for injury)

•        Long hair should be tied back.

•          Nothing is to be in the mouth. (No food
or gum)  We will occasionally allow drink breaks
during class.  These breaks are intended for
water only.

•        Children are not to begin any activities
without instructor.

•        Children must be met by parent inside
building, unless you inform us otherwise.

•        Please inform us if your child is to be
leaving with anyone other than parent/guardian.

•        Please do not distract children during
class.   An occasional "good job" is appreciated
but please refrain from coaching your child
and/or reminding them what to do.  We feel kids
get the most out of their class experience when
they are allowed this time to grow and learn with
their instructors and peers in class.  No child
does the right thing always.  If they are not in
danger, let them learn to find their way without
your help.

•        Please re-enforce our rules with your
children:
Stay on green striped carpet until class begins.
Solid blue carpet is for participants only.
No gymnastics without an instructor.
Save one cup for an entire class or bring a water
bottle to fill.
Ask an instructor before leaving gym floor
during class.
Don't distract kids in class.
